REM Model 4440 Duplex Turret Slitter / Rewinders supplied for either in-line or off-line slitting & rewinding of pressure sensitive, tape, films, foils, hot stamping foil, thermal transfer, foam tape, laminates, nonwovens, paper and many other products. Model 4440's are provided with either 2 position or 4 position turrets. Differential and locked core (air shafts) rewind shafts (mandrels) enable the rewinding of many products from full width down to very narrow slits such as 1/4 inch.

Layon rolls ( top riding rolls) fully programmed and counterbalanced enable rewinding of thin films.

Full width cutoff or cross-cutting mechanisms enable automatic transfer to the fresh cores.

REM Model 4440 Duplex Turret Slitter / Rewinders are available with Duplex Coreless Rewinding. Automatic cutoff and transfer and automated unloading of finished rolls on to an unloading tree.

When put in line with coating, printing die cutting and other web process equipment, the Model 4440 Turret Slitter / Rewinders enable the production of finished rolls in a single operation. The slitting & rewinding of double faced film tape on a liner is a typical example when placed on the output end of a hot melt coating line.
