REM's servo positioned, automatic minimum gap (short draw) rewinding system enables slits down to 0.375 inch-narrow rolls (pancakes) up to 36" diameter on a spacerless differential rewind shaft.

Our modular knife cart system enables quick change over between sizes and methods of slitting. An automatic oiling system feeds lubricant to the knife blades minimizing adhesive build up.

The spacerless rewind shafts are supported by quick-acting, pneumatically interlocked outboard arms which disengage only after the the unloading tree is engaged.

Finished rolls are pushed off the spacerless rewind shafts and onto an automatic roll unloading tree with X, Y, Z positioning. A second set of tree arms holds the next set of cores which are quickly pushed on to the rewind shafts for the next rewind cycle.
